1. The service
Atithi Pro is a subscription software service for hotels and guest houses in India. It provides AI-assisted guest ID scanning, a digital guest register, assisted filing of statutory guest reports to official government portals (such as Gujarat's Pathik system), room status management, collection reports (daybook) and GST invoicing. It is a tool operated by you — it does not run your hotel for you.
2. Accounts & eligibility
- You must be 18+ and authorised to act for the lodging business you register. Login is via mobile number and SMS OTP.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for the staff accounts you create. Keep your registered SIM/number secure; tell us immediately if you suspect misuse.
- One property's data is never visible to another property.
3. Your data & your responsibilities
- Your hotel's data belongs to you. We process it to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy.
- You confirm you have the legal right to collect guest identity details — hotels in India are required to maintain guest records, and Atithi Pro exists to make that duty easier and safer.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of data entered. AI extraction is presented for staff review; verify before saving or filing.
- Compliance remains your obligation. Government-report filing is an assistive automation of your own submission. We are not responsible for portal downtime, rejections, or the consequences of unfiled or incorrectly reviewed entries.
4. Subscriptions, trial & billing
- Every new property starts with a 30-day free trial of the Pro plan. No payment method is required for the trial.
- Paid plans (currently Basic ₹499/month, Pro ₹799/month, Premium ₹1,999/month, with annual options) are billed through Razorpay via UPI autopay or payment link. Plan limits (rooms, staff) apply as published on the pricing section.
- If a renewal fails or lapses, the account enters a short grace period and then becomes read-only — your data is not deleted, and existing guests can still be checked out.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; changes apply from your next billing period.
5. Digital delivery — nothing is shipped
Atithi Pro is a purely digital service. Access is activated on your account immediately upon successful payment (allowing a few minutes for payment confirmation). No physical product is shipped, so no shipping charges or delivery timelines apply.
6. Cancellation & refunds
You can cancel anytime and keep access until the end of the paid period. Details, including when refunds are given, are in the Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the service for any unlawful purpose, or scan/process identity documents you have no legal basis to collect;
- attempt to access another property's data or probe, disable or overload our systems;
- reverse-engineer, resell or white-label the service without a written agreement;
- upload malicious content or use the service to send spam.
We may suspend accounts that put other customers, guests' data or the service at risk.
8. Intellectual property
The Atithi Pro software, design and branding are our property. Your data, your hotel's branding and your documents remain yours. You grant us only the licence needed to host and process them to provide the service.
9. Availability & changes
We target high availability but do not promise uninterrupted service — maintenance, upstream outages (including government portals, payment and SMS providers) and events beyond our control can cause downtime. The app is built offline-first so front-desk work can continue through network drops. We continuously improve the product; features may evolve or be replaced with reasonable notice for material removals.
10. Termination & data on exit
- You may delete your account or hotel at any time — see Delete your account.
- Export your registers, reports and invoices before deleting; deletion is permanent.
- On termination, data is deleted or retained per the Privacy Policy retention rules (legal register windows apply).
11. Liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss (lost profits, penalties from your own compliance failures, data entered incorrectly by your staff). Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in the three months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Indemnity
You will indemnify us against claims arising from your breach of these terms or unlawful collection or use of guest data by your business.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Navsari, Gujarat have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer law to the contrary.
